AM.S01 is the first fabric piece of The Memorial Herbarium collection woven from the essence of plants and memories gathered from family gardens, both urban and rural. At its heart lies the thistle—a symbol of resilience, its sharpness both a protector and a boundary, thriving in areas disrupted by urbanisation, industrialisation, and cultivation. By dismantling these barriers, open pathways for communication are created, fostering a more inclusive and interconnected relationship between nature and humanity. Crafted as a scarf, AM.S01 is more than an accessory; it is a gesture of care, a shield against the cold, and a reminder to stay grounded. A scarf to protect, to reunite, and to wrap its wearer in the warmth of shared memories and the enduring beauty of nature.
