Saba is small and close-knit. An island where you feel the scale immediately, but also the strength of the community. The young people we met were open, curious, and eager to learn. At the same time, the size of the island brings limitations, fewer networks, fewer examples, and less access to the kind of knowledge that’s often taken for granted elsewhere.

That’s where this moment in time matters. Growing into a young professional is more accessible than ever. Through the internet, digital tools, and AI, knowledge can travel far beyond borders. During our time on Saba, we shared how these tools can help turn ideas into something concrete, and how they can create more equality in access to learning and growth.

The exchange went both ways. We stepped into their world, playing football together, spending time on the island, learning the culture and the rhythm of daily life. At the same time, they stepped into ours: exploring what it means to grow as a young professional, how to use tools, and how to build confidence around their ideas. You could feel it shift, when someone feels seen and supported, belief follows.

The workshops we’re now running for young people with ideas are free. We do this because we believe in giving back and reinvesting where it matters. And this is only the beginning. From our studio in Leiden, we’re working toward a long-term collaboration, supporting young people with clear goals through mini-brands and mini-sprints, helping them take their next steps, at their own pace.
