It's been a while since we last checked in. The past months have been full of back-to-back sprints, deadlines to meet, but also a lot of fun with clients, partners and new friends. So now it’s time to update you on what’s been keeping us busy.

Building Bruis, on the ground in Zuidwest

Earlier this year, we spent four consecutive sprint weeks in Zuidwest, working on Bruis, a project by Longfonds, MIND and the Municipality of The Hague. Not from behind a desk, but at the neighbourhood points themselves, across different areas, in conversation with young people and residents. Together we shaped how Bruis looks and sounds.

The result is more than a logo. There's now a complete brand, a set of assets and a website that the neighbourhood helped build. The ideas, words and visuals come from the young people who are there every day.

Making expertise visible

Onstein came to us with a website that didn't reflect the competence they bring as experts in Ege carpets. During two 5-day sprints, we shifted the focus toward their past projects and the stories behind them, giving more room to share the knowledge they've built up over the years. We also built in a fast, intuitive search that leans on AI in the background, which isn’t a chatbot, but a smarter way to find what you're looking for.

Helping youth to Hit The Ground Running

HTGR is still underway, but the progress is already visible. In 12 weeks, 6 group sessions and 6 one-on-one meetings, we are taking youth from their initial idea to a solid business plan. With just a few weeks to go, the kids have taken real steps to becoming entrepreneurs, with some already having a strategic plan or first working app. We love seeing them realise their ideas and help contribute to their journey.

Building on the momentum from previous sprints, we look forward to finalising more projects in the last quarters of 2026.

Looking back

On the 3rd of July, we held a very cozy night of decorating wine bottles in collaboration with our neighbours from VNTG Atelier. With wine bottles provided by Cave de la Lune, we had a fun night bringing people together and getting to know some of you. Thank you to everyone who joined for making it a very special night. You can see more from that evening on Instagram, or head to nieuwstraat.online to see how the wine bottles turned out!

Looking ahead

With a successful event behind us, we cannot wait to plan the next ones. Here’s a look at what we have planned for the next quarter:

- We are opening our doors for an art exhibition at the studio. Mark your calendars! September 25 & 26

- Revive Unsealed: We have 4 upcoming sessions still in 2026 with a fresh perspective on listening culture and community. September 25, October 30, November 20, December 11. Keep an eye on our Instagram!

- A sip and paint session. Tell your friends, tell your neighbours, Nieuwstraat will be your living room for a night of painting and drinking organised by Pandsatelier. Date & time - TBA

We'd love to see you at one of these!
